IBM sets up Office in Da Nang City to expand business to the Central market

Like other leading manufacturers of computer hardware such as Intel, Fujitsu, Qualcomm… IBM also focuses on promoting business in Vietnam market. IBM has set up an office in Da Nang to expand business in the Central market of Vietnam. This is the third office of IBM in Vietnam beside the ones in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi.

According to IBM manager that purpose of setting up office in Da Nang is to expand market, partners and customers to the Central provinces; provide customers with IT solutions; develop the “Smarter City” program in Da Nang. Besides, IBM will cooperate with colleges, universities to train IT human resources for Da Nang City and other provinces around; contribute to community support activities in anti-disasters, disease and climate change prevention.

Office of IBM in Da Nang City is furnished by CCTV and access control systems under UTC Fire & Security brand, which is trusted to install for IBM office network in the world, one of the world leading manufacturers. Security systems for the office of IBM in Da Nang, which are executed by T&T Security, will integrate into global Picture Perfect^™ management software. The works are scheduled to be completed in May 2012.
